The weekend schools
Every Saturday of the school year, for three years, more than 800 children aged 10 to 14 come to the TADA weekend schools.
Through practical workshops led by passionate volunteers (lawyers, nurses, cooks, mechanics, doctors, artists …), TADA children discover their potential and get a view on what their future may look like. This way they find the motivation to give their best at school and to grow up to be active citizens who contribute to our society.
TADA organizes Saturday workshops in five different branches located in Molenbeek, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Anderlecht and Schaerbeek. In each branch, about 150 children participate each Saturday in the weekend school.
Saint-Josse-ten-Noode
The first 100% bilingual TADA branch in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode started in school year 2012-2013. It is accommodated in the beautiful primary school Sint-Joost-aan-Zee.
Anderlecht
TADA started its growth in September 2015 with the opening of a second branch, for French-speaking children. The branch is now located in l’Institut des Sœurs de Notre-Dame (ISND), near Saint-Guidon.
Molenbeek NL
Since January 2016, TADA has a third branch Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. This Dutch-speaking branch is located in the brand-new building of the municipal primary school De Knipoog.
Molenbeek FR
In the beginning of the school year 2018-2019, TADA opened a fourth branch, the second one in Molenbeek. This French-speaking branch is located in the luminous building of School n°6, right next to the canal.
Schaerbeek
Since January 2020, Schaerbeek welcomes the fifth TADA weekend school. This bilingual branch is housed in the primary school Paviljoen.

In addition to the weekend schools, TADA has also developed the online platform ilovetada.be to keep students and their families informed, motivated and curious throughout the year.
